Hi Guys! I'm back with another video for tonight. This one talks mostly about 4th generation girl groups and how they are getting their popularity through mostly social media (like YouTube, Fancams, Facebook, etc...). Some of the big named 4th generation girls group that are mentioned in this video are Hello Venus, Sonamoo, and EXID.
This video showed me how much of an influence social media has nowadays and I thought that this would be a good video to share to you all who want to become K-pop/J-pop/C-pop/etc idols some day, whether your Asian or not, I feel like the BEST way to go about that is EXPOSURE! Get as much exposure as you possibly can. Make a YouTube channel showing off your talents, make a Facebook fan page so you can communicate with your fans more and tell them about upcoming events that you'll be doing. Make a twitter account, HECK go and make an Instagram account and post pictures of your daily life and new activities. The way to get someone to notice you is to ALWAYS STAY IN THEIR FACE! If you want to be even more appealing to the companies you want to be signed to go ahead and start your own fan base, make a name for yourself ALREADY! Don't wait for a company to make you famous, HUSTLE and try to already be famous ^_~.
But any-who, I hope this helps you guys out a little and gives you some new ideas. I also hope by reading this passage and watching this video that you get a different perspective of the industry and how you could possibly break through the industry itself.
